Когда я задумывал Slice and The City, я хотел создать не просто пиццерию. Я хотел построить опыт. Что-то, что было бы не просто местом, куда ты заходишь поесть, а местом, куда ты приходишь жить. Я много раз бывал в Нью-Йорке. Этот город живёт на бешеной скорости, он пахнет дождём, раскалённым асфальтом и… пиццей. Настоящей, хрустящей, тонкой, огромной, такой, что ты берёшь кусок — и весь мир замирает хотя бы на минуту. Мне хотелось принести этот момент в своё место. Так родился формат 20-дюймовых пицц, которые мы нарезаем на большие слайсы. Почему слайсы? Потому что это даёт тебе возможность попробовать разные вкусы за один визит. Ты не выбираешь один вкус на весь вечер — ты берёшь, пробуешь, улыбаешься, хочешь ещё. Это свобода. Это удовольствие.

Интерьер мы сделали в индустриальном стиле: кирпич, металл, дерево, открытые коммуникации, мягкий свет. Но не ради моды, а ради атмосферы. Мы хотели, чтобы ты чувствовал себя частью города. Часть Нью-Йорка, часть Европы, часть большой живой истории. Чтобы здесь можно было остаться не просто ради еды, а ради самого ощущения — ты принадлежишь этому месту.

When I envisioned Slice and The City, I didn’t just want to open a pizzeria. I wanted to create an experience — something that isn’t just a place to grab a bite, but a place where you come to live a little. Because food isn’t just about taste; it’s about the time you spend with others, about the memories you take home with you.

I’ve been to New York many times. That city runs at a breakneck pace — it smells like rain, hot asphalt, and… pizza. Real pizza: crisp, thin, massive, the kind where you grab a slice and, for just a moment, the world slows down. I wanted to bring that moment into my place. That’s how the format of our 20-inch pizzas was born, cut into big slices. Why slices? Because they let you taste different flavors in a single visit. You don’t have to commit to one; you can sample, explore, smile, and want more. It’s freedom. It’s pleasure.

We designed the interior in an industrial style: brick, metal, wood, exposed pipes, and soft lighting. But not for the sake of trend — for the sake of atmosphere. We wanted you to feel like you’re part of a city. A little New York, a little Europe, a little piece of a bigger, living story. A place where you stay not just for the food, but for the feeling — that you belong here.
